Why the Spurs game versus the Grizzlies moved to NBC, Peacock
San Antonio Spurs forward Victor Wembanyama (1) goes to the basket past Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green (23) during the second half of an NBA game in San Antonio, Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2025. Golden State beat San Antonio 123-120.
It was announced Friday that the Spurs game versus the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio will now be televised nationally on NBC and Peacock. The game is still slated for a 7 p.m. tipoff.
The game will no longer air on Fan Duel Sports Network. An additional Spurs game will be added to Fan Duel Sports Network’s broadcast schedule and announced at a later date.
The Spurs are off to an 8-3 start to the season and are in third place in the Western Conference ahead of their Friday matchup at home against the Golden State Warriors.
The Spurs’ resurgent season is, of course, led by Victor Wembanyama, who is averaging 26.2 points, 13.0 rebounds and 3.6 blocks per game. De’Aaron Fox also returned Nov.8 and has averaged 19.3 points a game heading into the game versus the Warriors. Stephon Castle is averaging 18.9 points and leads the team with 7.9 assists a game.
The Grizzlies are off to a 4-9 start and have lost to the Boston Celtics on Wednesday without Ja Morant, who missed the game due to right ankle injury suffered Tuesday night in a loss at New York. He is listed as day-to-day. The Grizzlies play at the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday before coming to San Antonio to face the Spurs.
